COTTLEVILLE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR LEGAL COUNSEL SERVICES
The Cottleville Fire Protection District is requesting proposals from qualified independent firms for legal counsel services. Proposals should be received at the Fire District’s Headquarters at 1385 Motherhead Rd. St. Charles, MO 63304 no later than 12:00 p.m. on February 23, 2026. The proposals will be opened at the regular scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors to be held at 5:00 p.m. this same day. The Board will select the firms to be interviewed at the regular scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors held on March 09, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. The successful firm will be announced at the regular scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors held March 23, 2026 meeting at 5:00 p.m. The successful firm will be required to sign an engagement letter.
Proposals will remain on the District property. Proposals must be delivered sealed and marked, “Legal Counsel Proposal” on the outside of the envelope. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to waive any irregularities. Firms are asked to respond to all items (negative or not applicable responses required also).
